Pre-Construction activities

I was able to start with taking out the bookcases and fireplace before the actual project started.

To my surprise the neighbors gas lines needed to be moved because they did not run in the exterior wall

Here you can see those gas lines coming up from the floor about a foot and a half from the exterior wall.

now everything was closed in after the gas lines were moved.  Also notice that I had to move an HVAC line and put in the holes for the ceiling speakers.

I did not have time to finish priming and painting yet, but the rest of the Kitchen drywall is coming down soon, so it will be easy to do it all at once.
